Are you looking for a unique and inspiring experience in Pasadena? Look no further than the Lineage Performing Arts Center (LPAC). Located in Old Pasadena, LPAC offers a variety of performing arts experiences, from dance and theater to music. Whether you're looking for a one-night performance of stories, music and dance, or a nostalgic journey back in time with an interactive dance, LPAC has something for everyone. On May 13th, Street Symphony will bring the Skid Row Stories to Lineage to inaugurate the two-week run of Stories That Move Us at the Lineage Performing Arts Center.

With live music by Street Symphony musicians, Lineage dances and photographs by Ivonne Maria, this will be an inspirational night of world-class art in Pasadena. On June 11 (17:00 and 20:00), two performances will be held at the Lineage Performing Arts Center, and the next day another epic performance will be presented at the Pasadena City Hall (June 12 at 7:00 p.m.). The LPAC also hosts performing arts groups such as the Lineage Dance Company, the Parson's Nose Theater and the Ensemble Shakespeare Theater. On June 4th and 5th, two students from Pasadena Polytechnic School met and became best friends thanks to their love for music and art.

Partially supported by the Pasadena Community Foundation, the Perenchio Foundation and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, LPAC is making Healing Blue possible in part by the City of Pasadena Arts Cultural Commission & and the City of Pasadena's Division of Cultural Affairs. Founded by Los Angeles Philharmonic violinist Vijay Gupta, Street Symphony has partnered with Lineage Dance to create a new tradition in storytelling. The Lineage Performing Arts Center's resident theater company, Ensemble Shakes, returns with Shakespeare's most enduring play, Hamlet.
