Unlock the Opportunities of Volunteering at Pasadena Dance Theater

The Pasadena Dance Theater (PDT) was created in 1965 by Evelyn LeMone as a non-profit dance school for the Pasadena community and beyond. High-caliber classical ballet training allowed many students to continue their professional careers around the world. Over the decades, the PDT has developed outreach programs for local schools and communities in need so that the art of dance is available to all. Our annual Nutcracker performance has enchanted spectators for more than 20 years, including children from local public schools, with free or low-cost tickets.

In addition, our Scholarship Program for children has brought the love of dance to a population that is normally underrepresented in the world of ballet by offering free training to children interested in dedicating themselves to dance. Our objectives are to increase the number of students and, at the same time, to continue providing excellent training, as well as increasing our reach in our community through educational programs and actions. Finally, fundraising is an important goal to provide more opportunities for students and our community. Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? If so, then volunteering at the Pasadena Dance Theater may be just what you're looking for! The Center offers exciting volunteer opportunities throughout the year that bring people together to discover, create and celebrate the arts. Volunteers are vital to the success of our community.
